Praha; Nonstop

This city is such a paradox. There's an severe overabundance of beer but the locals don't smile. Unless they're drinking. And drinks are cheap, beer and wine especially. You can buy Pilsner Urquell for 50-75 cents. I bought a bottle of Malbec for a dollar (it was delicious Pops). There are so many beautiful buildings that you feel like you've seen the same one a block back or miss it entirely. But it's incredibly interactive. You can go to almost any of the historical sites and touch. And feel. It's amazing. Especially when I consider how many times I've been mere feet from a place or object only able to look.

We made friends with some aussies and brits and one canadien yesterday and went out on the town and wound up at an american/harley davidson themed bar (reason being that we had wandered for too long looking for a bar that we had to drink, right then). It looked like the harley davidson gift shop exploded and everything stuck to the walls. We managed a couple of beers there before we rallied to the next bar, The Prague Beer Museum. I don't think it was actually a museum. Pretty forgettable. There was a drunk Italian kid who wandered into the group and stole his way into a few pictures and when he asked where we were all from we responded with Spain. And he bought it. Go figure. Not too long after we made it to the all night rave party. It was fun to let loose and dance, especially after the last few days (don't tell G but we managed to march around for 40 plus miles in a 2 and a half day span) and we really let loose. After awhile (4 hours) house trance music gets old. It made me miss Mccoy. Don't tell him I said that.

Today: I'm at a coffee shop (you know, the on that is everywhere) trying to download a movie so we can relax in the room a little and take it easy (Diz has a bum knee and G partied hard last night). But it's taking forever. Sidenote: DO NOT complain about interweb or cable or technology in general back in the states, we as Americans have it gooder than everybody else. So, I might just call it and head back. I forget my iphone so I can't post the pictures of the last few days, we made our first real dinner yesterday after days of sammiches. Pretty proud. Will post pics. Enjoy Captain America. And smile. That shit rules.
